Overview

When patients develop neurotrophic keratitis (NK), responding promptly is crucial for protecting their corneas – and their vision. Will you be able to recognize and treat your next patient with NK in time?

In this compelling educational program, you’ll take away the lessons you need to identify patients with NK risk factors, diagnose NK at an early stage, and use management strategies to target their underlying pathophysiology and support optimal outcomes.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Assess corneal innervation physiology and pathophysiology of neurotrophic keratitis
  • Identify early-stage neurotrophic keratitis using appropriate diagnostic methods
  • Implement effective early management strategies for patients with neurotrophic keratitis
  • Assess the effects of neurotrophic keratitis on patients’ quality of life
